On April 11, 2023, the PMI Project Management Ready (Next Generation) exam was released. The previous version of the exam remained available through the end of June 2023. Then on July 1, 2023, the PMI Project Management Ready exam and learning products were overwritten with the newest version of the exam, practice tests, and learning products, and will return to the "PMI Project Management Ready" name.
All vouchers and licenses purchased before July 1, 2023, will still be valid and redeemable for the PMI Project Management Ready exam, courseware, and learning products. Nothing will change regarding expiration dates, or product use or redemption. The current Unity Certified User (UCU) VR Developer exam was updated to a new version in January 2024, but the exam name will remain the same. The new exam changed from a specialization exam (half the length of a normal exam) with UCU Programmer as a prerequisite, to a full-length exam with no prerequisite. We expect any student that has passed the UCU Programmer exam and has prepared for the current version of the VR Developer exam will also pass the new version of the exam.
Any Unity vouchers purchased for VR Developer before January can also be redeemed for the new version of the exam. Additional courseware and practice tests are currently being developed for the new version of the exam which should be available in Q2 of 2024.
