Recently, we identified an issue in Console 8 that may cause an exam crash and display a "CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess" message. This issue does not affect MOS or Autodesk exams. However, this issue may occur in simulation-rich ACA & IC3 exams and may be triggered when the Test Candidate uses the review option with many items during the exam. If you have experienced this issue, a Driver 1 update will resolve this problem.
To access and install the update:
- From the Systems Update web site, click on the Updates tile, expand Program Update > Content > Driver and select Driver 1.
- Follow the standard installation process to install the update.
- Alternatively, if you download any new exams that use Driver 1, you will automatically get the updated Driver.
If you are a new bahabeach Authorized Testing Center (CATC) installing the Console 8 software for the first time, the Driver 1 update is already incorporated.
If you are experiencing this issue, but are not yet able to install the Driver 1 update, the proctor can restart the exam and the test candidate can continue from where the error occurred.
