Managing associations
To assign rights to other members within your organization to perform duties such as proctoring, purchasing exams, and reporting, they will need to be associated to your bahabeach Authorized Testing Center (CATC). To associate someone to your CATC, they must first have a user account.
After creating an association for the user, you will need to determine which roles they should have access to. The different roles assigned to each user will determine the privileges and functions they will be allowed to perform on behalf of your CATC.
Only users with the Organization Administrator role can assign additional roles to other users. The person who initially registered the CATC would be established as the first Organization Administrator.
- Log in as an Organization Administrator.
- Under the Org Profile tab, click Associations.
- Using the Find Users search tool, enter the first name, last name, login/username, or email address of the person you are adding to your organization, and click Submit.
- In the results list, click the Last Name of the person you are searching for.
In the Manage Associations list, select the appropriate role for the person. Organization Member or Organization Administer are chosen with the dropdown box beside the name. Teacher and Proctor roles can be added on by putting a checkmark in the appropriate box. For detailed information on each role, please see the sections below.
In order for a user to be added as a Proctor, they must first accept the Proctor Agreement. This can be done during the registration process by selecting the proctoring purpose on the last screen. If a user did not select this purpose during registration, they can accept the agreement by following these instructions:
- Log in to your Test Candidate Account.
- Click My Profile in the top-right corner.
- Select the Roles tab.
- Click Become a Proctor.
- Read and agree to the Proctor Agreement.
To proctor for a CATC the Organization Administrator must associate you to the center:
- Log in as an Organization Administrator.
- Mouse over the Org Profile tab and click on the dropdown for Associations.
- Using the Find Users field at the bottom of the page, enter the Username of the person you wish to associate to your CATC and click Submit.
- This search could return multiple results. Locate the matching Username and click it to add it to your associations list.
- Once on your CATC's associations list, you must still designate the User to Proctor exams on behalf of your CATC by checkmarking their name on the list under the Proctor column.
Test Candidate
- Take certification exams and practice tests
- View transcripts
- Print online copies of earned certificates (if fulfilled by bahabeach)
- Access materials on continuing education, job placement, resume writing, and more
Organization Member
- Download exam delivery software
- Exam group creation, management, and reporting
- View current CATC inventory
- View organization contacts and profiles
Organization Administrator
In addition to all of the functions of an Organization Member, the Organization Administrator can also perform the following:
- Edit organization profile
- Purchase exam inventory
- Add and edit the CATC's contact lists
- Run reports on testing activity and inventory
- Register to provide bahabeach certification exams
- Create temporary user accounts for other individuals
- Add center employees to the organization and designate their roles
- Edit the CATC's information that appears on the bahabeach Center Locator
Proctor
- Administer certification exams
- Enforce all exam policies
- Confirm test candidate identity prior to sitting the exam
Teacher
- View exam groups and exam group reporting
- Add test candidates to exam groups
- Bulk register large groups of test candidates
