Fall means back to school, which means your students already in the swing of learning new skills. Are you keeping your skill set sharp? Often, you’re so busy, it’s easy to let your own skills sit on the back burner.
Remember, making time to enrich your own education is just as important as enriching the education of your students. Take it from Karen Rowlett, from Arkansas, who recently earned her MOS Master certification.
Karen’s incredibly busy. “I am beginning my 23rd year at Greenbrier Public Schools. This year I teach six sections of Survey of Business, and in the past I have taught Insurance & Risk Management and Personal Finance.“
Luckily, Karen realized that investing in herself is just as important as investing in her students. “Preparing for my Microsoft exams challenged me to learn new skills. I now know more about the Microsoft programs than I ever have, and I can help my students master new skills as well. I take personal pride in achieving Master certification because I like to push myself to new levels of competence.”
Congratulations Karen! Welcome to the MOS Master family!
