As a teacher, keeping up with the current technologies is a must. One of the best ways to show you’re up with the latest technologies is through earning additional certifications. No one knows that more than Amisha Jefferson.
Amisha has been with Virginia Beach City Public Schools for 18 years, 16 of them at Larkspur Middle School, and the past 2 years at Tallwood High School. At Tallwood, she teaches Keyboarding, Computer Information Systems, Advanced Computer Information Systems, and Design, Multimedia, & Web Technologies (DMWT). On top of a full teaching load, she serves as the FBLA Chapter Adviser.
Not only has her MOS Master certification benefited her, but she’s used this achievement to benefit others. She said, “Being a MOS Master has helped me motivate my students and colleagues to want the same for themselves. I’ve been fortunate to assist two of my ACIS students in earning MOS Master certifications and have received requests from fellow colleagues on the how to prepare. Others recognize that MOS certification is good, MOS Expert is better, and MOS Master is best!”
Well done, Amisha, and welcome to the MOS Master team!
